Sangkuriang is a folklore passed down from generation to generation in the Land of Sunda. Sangkuriang tells about the desire of a child who tries to marry his own mother. 

The mother, Dayang Sumbi is actually an angel with a youthful appearance.Sangkuriang may marry Dayang Sumbi as long as he meets the conditions, 

but Dayang Sumbi herself is thwarted. The story of Sangkuriang is the origin of Mount Tangkuban Perahu. 

The moral message that can be taken from Sangkuriang is that children should not be arrogant, must do good, and be good at holding back their
